I was doing some shopping the other day and lo and behold what do I see but strawberry sherberts?
Needless to say I did buy a packet. Reminds me of happy childhood memories with some good old sweets, however they don't seem to taste as good, nor are they as cheap.
What do you remember from your childhood?

Being told to "Vote Labour" and "Fuck off" by your mate, SP!!!!
memories of my 70's childhood: everyone else having those monstrously ugly Chopper bikes, powercuts and candles; loo roll shortages, polyester shirts, nylon sheets, neon-yellow vegetable fat icecream, 'Crisis? What crisis?' Callaghan, Red Robbo, rusty cars, ugly new buildings etc. etc. _ all the crap you would expect after 30 years of 'consensus' social-democrat government. Weren't the 80's a wonderful breath of fresh air after all of that?
I could never believe that SP would say such terrible things!
David, talking of the 1980s just reminds me of high unemployment (over 3million and that was just the official figures), high inflation and interest rates, boom and bust - all which went into the 1990s -, closure of the mines and dividing mining communities, look at the police actions which made Britain look more of a police state than now, riots in the inner cities, Wapping and Maggie Thatcher bringing about the Poll Tax, the introduction of the anti-gay legislation that was Section 28.
The only good points that I can see is that Spurs won the FA Cup in 1981, 1982 and 1987 and winning the UEFA Cup in 1984.
The 1980's were not the best of years me thinks!!
